When creating a geofence, it’s important to keep the number of points to a maximum of 20 , fewer is even better for performance.


The reason for this is that the more data points a geofence has, the longer it takes for devices to download all the geofences, and the longer it takes for any changes to take effect which may lead to false breaches.
