How to use Player Profiles in the Management Module

This guide outlines how to access and leverage Player Profiles.

By turning every round into a measurable data point, player profile data empower operators to optimize tee sheets, conduct objective pace interventions, and enhance the overall player experience.

How Player Profiles Are Built

Building detailed Player Profiles is a process that relies on a seamless data loop between your tee sheet and  Tagmarshal GPS devices. By syncing golfer identities with real-time data, the system creates a factual, historical record of playing habits.

Here is how the integration works:

1. Identifying the Player
The process begins on the Tee Times module. Player names are entered into the system in one of two ways:

Tee Sheet Integration: Names are pulled through automatically from your existing integration.
OR
Manual Entry: Names are entered directly into the Tee Times page by staff.

Once the names are present, the system creates a link between the golfer’s identity, their tags and their specific starting slot.

2. Linking
To track the round, a tag is assigned to that specific tee time. The tag assignment acts as the bridge between the player on the course and their player profile.

3. Data Collection and Population
As the round progresses, the device records real-time movement and pace data.

Automatic Sync: The data recorded for that specific device is tied to the tag assigned to those player names.

Finalizing the Profile: Upon completion of the round, this data automatically populates the individual Player Profiles for that tee time.

 How to use Player Profiles

Step 1: Access the Management Module

  • Open the sidebar on the left-hand side of your dashboard.

  • Click on the Management icon to open the administrative menu.

Step 2: Open the Player Overview

From the Managament menu, you will transition to your broader player database.

  • Click on Player Overview.

  • This action will take you directly to the Player Report page, where a list of player names are available,

Step 3: Analyze the Player Report Dashboard (List View)

The Player Report page provides a searchable, high-level list of all player profiles available.  Before drilling down into an individual, you can review a wide range of performance data available directly in the list view:

  • Identity & History: First Name, Last Name, total Rounds Tracked, and the date of their Last Round.

  • Speed MetricsAverage Round Time, providing an immediate sense of the player's typical pace.

  • Operational Touchpoints: The number of recorded Interventions and Check-Ins performed by staff during the player's rounds.

  • Interventions, Check-ins with Player

  • Pace Performance Groups:  columns showing the number and percentage of rounds spent in Problem GroupsOn Pace Groups, and Slow Groups.

  • Impact Tracking: Specific fields for Delayed Groups and % Rounds Delayed Groups (how often they were held up by others), as well as Delayer rounds and % Rounds Delayer rounds (how often they were the primary cause of a bottleneck).

Step 4: View the Detailed Individual Player Profile

To access granular habits and specific behavioral trends for a single golfer, you must view their detailed report.

  • On the far right of the desired player's row in the report, click the "View" button.

  • This action directs you to the Individual Player Profile.

Insights Within the Individual Player Profile

Once you click View, the page provides detailed visual data,  potentially used for high-end "white-glove" service and strategic planning:

  • Common Teetimes: A bar graph visualizing Rounds Recorded across different hours of the day. It highlights the "Most Common Teetime" (e.g., 08:00 – 09:00).

  • Tee Times Performance Table: A breakdown of specific start times showing Times Started, how often the player was On Pace, and their % On Pace for that specific slot.

  • Common Days: A bar graph showing frequency of play by day of the week, identifying the "Most Common" day (e.g., Sunday).

  • Days Performance Table: A list showing Times StartedOn Pace rounds, and % On Pace categorized by the day of the week (e.g., comparing performance on a Friday vs. a Sunday).

The Strategic Value of Player Profiles

  • Strategic Tee Sheet Management: Identify fast players to lead the field and set a strong pace for the day.

  • Emotion-Free Conversations: Use objective data to address slow play, shifting from confrontation to constructive coaching.

  • Defending Golfers: Protect players who may have a "slow routine" but actually play within target times.

  • Personalized Service: Anticipate the needs of high-value members by understanding their preferred playing times and historical habits.
