Here is a video to help you Navigate/ use the Live Map:
The Tagmarshal Live Map provides a real-time, bird’s-eye view of your entire golf course at the click of a button. By centralizing data from every cart and walking group, it eliminates the need for staff to aimlessly patrol the course to find pace issues.
Why the Live Map is an Important Starting Point:
Full Operational Oversight: It serves as your primary command center, offering full line-of-sight from a PC, tablet, or smartphone.
Proactive Management: Powerful algorithms analyze course flow in real-time, allowing you to spot and address potential bottlenecks before they negatively affect the entire field.
Labor Efficiency: It saves hours of manual labor by allowing a single person in the pro shop to manage the pace of play for the entire course.
How it Works: The system uses GPS tracking devices (installed in carts or attached to walking bags) to transmit positional data to the cloud. Tagmarshal’s AI then compares each group's real-time location against more than 10 dynamically calculated factors- such as goal times and the progress of the rest of the field- to generate the color-coded tags/ icons seen on the map.
Log in and open the TM dashboard.
Locate the live map, which serves as the landing page.
Utilize the live cart or tag icons to track groups or players.
Monitor the gap time to identify potential bottlenecks where groups are falling behind their expected position.
Recognize the tag or cart icons that indicate player locations and pace notifications.
Cart icons are typically black square icons with a cart logo in the middle.
Familiarize yourself with the system's algorithm-driven color coding:
Green icons: The group is currently on pace.
Red icons: The group is slow or out of position, but is not currently impacting any other groups.
Orange icons: The group is behind pace but is being delayed by a group ahead of them.
Purple (Magenta) icons: The group is delaying groups behind them, causing a negative impact on the course flow.
Observe that tag icons change size based on how long a group is out of position—larger tags indicate a bigger concern that requires more immediate attention.
Click on the active icon in the top right-hand corner to see carts or tags not currently engaged in a round.
Ensure to refresh the live map regularly to get the most accurate updates.
Be aware of the potential for miscommunication if tags are not monitored closely.
Monitor Regularly: Check the live map every 15 seconds for real-time updates to maintain a proactive stance.
Visual Assessment: Use color codes to quickly assess the status of the entire course at a glance.
Prioritize Large Icons: Keep an eye on the size of icons to prioritize which groups need immediate staff intervention.
