How to use the Timing Schedule

Using the Timing Schedule

How to use the Timing Schedule feature to view and manage group pacing, especially useful for daily play and tournament events.

What the Timing Schedule Does

The Timing Schedule displays:

  • Gap Time to the Group Ahead minus the Tee Time Gap.

  • Useful for tracking round pace and identifying groups that are ahead or behind schedule.

  • Ideal for tournaments, championships, charity outings, league events, and other organized play days.

How to Access the Timing Schedule

  1. Click on the Tag icon on your dashboard.

  2. Select the Tagmarshal icon to open the Marshal heading.

  3. Click on Timing Schedule.

You’ll now see the schedule for today’s rounds. You can adjust the date to view previous or upcoming days.

Viewing and Filtering Data

  • The schedule displays every round for the selected day, including rounds in progress and completed.

  • To focus on active rounds only, click Hide Complete.

Each row includes:

  • Tag Number – the identifier for each group, shown in order of tee-off time.

  • Last Hole Completed – the most recent hole played.

  • Pace Information – e.g., –20 means 20 minutes ahead of pace, +18 means 18 minutes behind.

  • Scheduled Time – when the group was expected to complete their last hole.

  • Positional Gap – the difference between their actual gap and their tee time gap.

Drilling Down into Group Data

To view detailed timing for a specific group:

  1. Click on the Tag Number.

  2. You’ll see:

    • Scheduled vs. Actual Times for each hole.

    • Overall Pace for the round.

    • Positional Gap Data (this will be null if there’s no group ahead).

This helps visualize how the group’s pace changed throughout the round.

Additional Viewing Options

  • You can click on a specific hole to see which groups have completed that hole.

  • For example, view all groups through hole 9, 17, or 18.

  • Completed rounds are indicated as “through 18.”
