Create and Manage Groups for Food & Beverage  Menu Items


1. Understanding Menu Groups 

  • Groups categorize menu items based on availability (e.g., breakfast, lunch, drinks).

  • Each group can be customized for specific times and days of the week.


2. Customizing Group Availability 

  • Access the group settings to customize availability.

  • Set specific times for each group (e.g., breakfast from 6 AM to 11 AM).

  • Define the days of the week when the group is active.

 

3. Creating a New  food & beverage Group 

  • Click the 'Create New Group' button.

  • Name the group (e.g., Happy Hour).

  • Set the start and end times (e.g., 3 PM to 6 PM).

  • Specify the days of the week the group is available (e.g., Thursday to Sunday).

 

4. Duplicating a  food & beverage Group 

  • To create a similar group, select the 'Duplicate' option for an existing group.

  • Adjust the days and times as needed (e.g., set a new happy hour for Monday to Wednesday from 4 PM to 7 PM).

 

5. Save Changes 

  • After making adjustments, click 'Save' to apply changes.

  • Ensure that the new group is displayed correctly in the system.


Cautionary Notes

  • Ensure that the times set for groups do not overlap to avoid confusion.

  • Double-check the days of the week to ensure accuracy in availability.

Tips for Efficiency

  • Regularly review group settings to ensure they align with operational hours.

  • Use the duplicate feature to save time when creating similar groups.
