1. Understanding Menu Groups
Groups help categorize your menu items. Some examples include: Breakfast, Lunch, Happy Hour, Beer, Liquor, Non-Alcoholic Drinks.
Each group can be customized to be available for purchase specific times and/or days of the week.
2. Customizing Group Availability
Access the group settings to customize availability by clicking on the Tagmarshal Icon and then proceeding to "F&B" - "Edit Menu"
From there, you should see your created groups. Click "Edit" to edit or change the availability of this grouping and the items that will be under this grouping.
3. Creating A New Food & Beverage Group
Toggle to the "Groups" tab and then click the 'Create New Group' button.
Proceed to name the group such as: "Happy Hour".
Set the start and end times for this group and when the items under this grouping will be available (example: 2:00 PM-6:00 PM).
Specify the days of the week the group and the items will be available for purchase (e.g., Friday-Sunday).
Once created, you can drag the groups to be in the order you want them to display on your 2-Way Screens (top to bottom will show from left to right on the screens).
4. Duplicating A Food & Beverage Group
To create a similar group, select the 'Duplicate' option for an existing group already created.
Adjust the days and times as needed
5. Save Changes
After making any adjustments, click 'Save' to apply these changes.
Ensure that the new group is displayed correctly in the system by going to your 2-Way Screens and clicking on F&B from the hamburger menu.
Ensure that the times set for groups do not overlap to avoid confusion.
Double-check that the days of the week are accurate to ensure accuracy in item availability.
Regularly review group settings to ensure they align with your kitchen's operational hours.
Use the duplicate feature to save time when creating similar groups.
