How to create and configure a banner advertisement to display visual promotions or messages across the bottom of player screens.
1. Add a New Advertisement
Click the “Add New Advert” button in the top-right corner of your dashboard.
A pop-up form will appear, allowing you to create a new advertisement.
2. Name Your Advertisement
Enter a descriptive name (e.g., “Banner”).
This helps you identify the advertisement easily in your dashboard.
3. Set Active Days and Times
Choose when the banner ad should be displayed:
To keep it always visible, leave it Always On.
To target specific days (e.g., weekend promotions), toggle on Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
You can also set time ranges for each day.
Example: For a morning ad, set 6 AM to 12 PM.
4. Select Device Type
Choose where the banner ad will display:
5-inch Handheld 2Way Screens
8-inch or 10-inch Cart-mounted 2Way Screens
Any Device Type – to show on all devices
For this tutorial, we’ll use Any Device Type.
5. Configure Display Duration
Set how long each banner ad will remain on screen.
Recommended duration: 20 seconds
This ensures players have time to read the message before the next banner rotates.
If multiple banner ads are active, they will rotate every 20 seconds.
6. Upload Banner Template
Use the appropriate banner template file for your device size:

8-inch
10-inch
Click the template link to download it (a ZIP file).
Add your image or design to the template, then save it as a JPEG or PNG.
Upload your completed banner by clicking Add Image in the pop-up form.
Once uploaded, your banner preview will appear in the ad window.
7. Configure Sound Setting
Use the sound toggle (speaker icon) to choose if the banner should have an alert tone.
Sound On: Plays an alert when the banner appears.
Sound Off: Silent display.
Recommended: Keep sound off for banner ads since they display frequently and should not disrupt players during play.
8. Save and Manage the Advertisement
Click Save Advert to finalize the setup.
The banner will now appear in your Advertisements Dashboard.
To deactivate the banner, toggle it Off — it will appear greyed out.
To reactivate, toggle it On again.
