How To Set The Network APN On A 2Way screen

This document will guide you through setting up the network settings for a 2Way screen. This is usually done when a 2Way device's SIM card is replaced. You may also use this as a reference point to assist the client with checking settings ensuring the device is provisioned correctly. Depending on if the screen is on Android 10 or 13, the user interface might look slightly different. But the set up is still the same process.
  • Exit the Tagmarshal app by triple tapping (3 quick touches) the "Home Button".

  • To exit the mobile device management platform, enter "6745" and press "OK".


  • Select "Settings" from the menu list. This will open the settings app.

  • Select "Apps"

  • Select "myhome". (If it is not visible under recently opened apps, select "See all apps" and navigate down to it.)


  • Scroll down and click on "Home app".

  • Select "Quickstep". The screen will jump to the home screen. The mobile device management (MDM) have now been deactivated successfully. This is done to ensure the Tagmarshal app does not launch while working on the screen.

  • On the home screen, swipe up to see the app library.

  • Select the Setting app.

  1. Select "Network & Internet".
  • Select the "Mobile Network".

  • Ensure that Mobile Data and Roaming is turned on.

  • Confirm the selection by pressing "OK".


  1. Select Advanced at the bottom of the list.
  2. Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and press "Access Point Names".

  1. To add a new APN, press the plus in the top right corner of the screen. (If the required APN is
    already created, it can just be selected without creating a new APN.)
  1. To set a new APN, a name and APN needs to be provided. Depending on the sim card used
    these details change.
  2. Once the name and APN have been entered, press the three dots in the top right and press
    "Save".
  1. Select the correct APN, by pressing the dot on the right of the screen (The circle has to be
    green to be selected).
  1. Press the square at the bottom right of the screen and close all apps by swiping up from the center of the screen

  1. The screen will open onto the home page. The mobile device management app needs to be 
    activated again.
  2. Navigate back to the settings app, by swiping up on the home screen and selecting the settings app in the app library.

  3. Select "Apps".

  4. Select "myhome". (If it is not visible under recently opened apps, select "See all apps" and navigate down to it.)

  5. Scroll down and click on "Home app".

  6. Select "myhome". The screen will jump back into the Tagmarshal app. The cart can now be used by golfers again.
