Setting up Shotgun Starts

How  to set up shotgun starts/  Setting Up Shotgun Starts in the Tee Times module

A shotgun start is a great way to ensure all players start and finish their rounds at the same time. 

  1. Access the Tee Times Module: From the Tagmarshal dashboard, navigate to the Tee Times page

  2. Select the Date: Click on the date selector and choose the date you want the shotgun start to occur.

  3. Open the Shotgun Tab: Click on the Shotgun tab to access the shotgun-specific settings.

  4. Configure Shotgun Details:

    • Start Time: Use the Start Time Counter to set the time the shotgun start should begin.

    • Shotgun Type: Select whether it's a 9-hole or 18-hole shotgun start.

    • Goal Time: Adjust the Goal Time for the round if necessary.

  5. Assign Tags: For each hole, click on Add Tags to assign specific carts or walkers to that starting location.

    • You can assign multiple tags to a single group if needed.

  6. Create "B" Groups (Optional): If you have more than 18 groups, you can create "B" groups for specific holes by clicking Add B Group.

  7. Ignore Geofence (Optional): If a group is a "blue flag" group and needs to ignore the geofence, you can toggle the Ignore Geofence switch for that group.

  8. Schedule the Shotgun: Once all details are correctly configured, click the green Schedule Shotgun button to save your settings and trigger the shotgun start at the specified time.
