Setting Season Goals in the Analytics Hub

Learn how to set, adjust, and track your season and daily goals in the Analytics Hub to improve course performance and monitor staff benchmarks.

1. Accessing Season, interaction Goal Settings

  1. Click on the menu icon in the Tagmarshal dashboard.

  2. Under the Administrator heading, select Season Goal Setting.

This section allows you to manage both weekly goals and individual day goals, providing flexibility for benchmarking and performance tracking.

2. Understanding Goal Types

There are two primary types of goals you can configure:

  • Weekly Goals: Apply across the entire week and help track progress period to period.

  • Daily Goals: Set specific targets for individual days—useful for high-traffic days such as Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.

Setting both helps you benchmark staff and operational performance over time.

3. Setting On-Pace Percentage Goals

Use the On-Pace Percentage section to set targets for the percentage of groups expected to play on pace each day.
For example:

  • Aim to increase the on-pace percentage from 60% to 70–75% over time.

  • These goals motivate staff to manage groups proactively and improve pace consistency.

4. Setting Interaction Goals

Under Interactions per Day, define the number of player interactions your staff should complete daily.

  • The default value is 100, but this can be adjusted based on staffing levels.

  • For example, if one player experience team member is on duty, set a realistic number such as 20, 30, or 40 interactions.

  • You can adjust this number weekly as operations evolve.

5. Setting Intervention Success Goals

The Intervention Success metric tracks how effective your team’s interactions are.

  • This percentage represents how many groups corrected their pace after a marshal or player assistant intervention.

  • Set your target percentage goal for each day or week based on your operational standards.

  • Example: Aim for a 75% or higher success rate in getting groups back on pace.

6. Setting Assignment Goals

The Tee Sheet Assignment goal measures the percentage of tee times assigned to a cart or tag device.

  • A 100% assignment rate means every loaded tee time is linked to a device.

  • You can use the slider or input a specific number to set your target percentage.

  • Click Apply Changes to save your updates.

7. Creating Custom Daily Goals

You can add new custom daily goals for special events or busy days:

  1. Select the day(s) you want to customize (e.g., Friday, Saturday, Sunday).

  2. Assign a name such as Busy Day, Shotgun Start, Charity Event, or Tournament.

  3. Adjust the same metrics — On-Pace %, Interactions, Intervention Success, and Assignment Goals — for each custom day.

  4. Click Apply Changes to save.

These custom goals will then be reflected in your Analytics Hub performance data.

8. Deleting a Goal

To remove an existing custom goal:

  • Simply click Delete next to the goal entry you wish to remove.

  • Confirm your action to finalize the deletion.

9. Tracking Your Goals in the Analytics Hub

Once your goals are saved, they will automatically sync to the Analytics Hub, where you can view progress and compare real-time performance against your benchmarks.

The Season Goal Setting tool allows you to:

  • Benchmark daily and weekly operational targets.

  • Motivate staff through measurable goals.

  • Monitor performance improvements directly in the Analytics Hub.

  • Adjust dynamically for high-traffic days and events.

Use this feature to continuously improve pace, efficiency, and the overall player experience.
