Lost device, fixes history and round info

Device Tracker & Trackmap

The Trackmap feature displays a device’s location and fixes during a round. However, if you’d like to view a device’s full location history, including movements both within and outside of a round, you’ll need to use the Device Tracker tool.

This feature is especially useful when:

  • A device has been lost

  • You’d like to review its movement throughout the day

  • You want to check where a device went after a round ended.

  • If a cart went inactive during a round and why that round broke?

  • Confirm if a cart followed the round sequencing or skipped zones.

  • Why a round is inactive or marked as incomplete.

1. Make Inactive Devices Visible

Select Active to ensure inactive devices are also displayed.

2. Open the Fixes Menu

  • Select the tag you’d like to investigate.

    • If you’re unable to locate the specific device, you can select any random tag for now.

  • Once selected, the side menu will appear on the right-hand side.

  • Click View Fixes.

3. Access the Device Tracker

The Device Tracker will open automatically. Here you’ll find a dropdown menu labeled Player Devices, which lists all devices registered to your course.

  • Locate the device you want to review.

  • Click the eye icon next to the device number to view its history.

Important Notes:

  • If you selected a random device in Step 2, hide it again by clicking the eye icon so that only your intended device’s data is shown.

  • Avoid selecting Show All, as this will display the history and fixes for all devices at once, making it difficult to analyze individual data.

4. Filter by Date and Time

Use the Filter option to specify the exact date and time range you’d like to review for the selected device.

5. View Fix Details

Once the fixes are displayed on the map, each fix will appear as a small dot.
Click on any dot to view detailed information, including:

  • Time

  • Speed

  • Location

  • Date

  • Battery level

In the example below, you'll see a trackmap showing a round ending on hole 4 green and not tracking further with that round marked as incomplete.

However, once we use the Device Tracker, you'll get a better picture of what happened to that round. Showing that they drove back after hole 4 and didn't complete the full 9 hence the system marked that round as incomplete.
