Using The Gap Time Monitor

Using The Gap Time Monitor Within Your Dashboard

Using The Gap Time Monitor

How to use the Gap Time Monitor feature to manage pace of play on the golf course.

1. Accessing the Gap Time Monitor

  • Click the tab located in the bottom right corner of your Dashboard where your course map is displayed

  • This will open the Gap Time Monitor - displaying a linear representation of your active groups/tags currently playing.

2. Understanding The Course Segments

  • Familiarize yourself with how each hole is divided. This is done by the par of each hole:

    • Par 3's: Divided into (2) segments - Tee & Green

    • Par 4's: Divided into (3) segments - Tee, Fairway, & Green

    • Par 5's: Divided into (4) segments - Tee, 1st Fairway, 2nd Fairway, & Green. This helps show if a group is waiting or playing on the first part of the fairway or closer to the green.

3. Viewing Detailed Information

  • Hover your mouse over any of the groups/tags on the Gap Time Monitor.

  • Detailed information will appear including:

    • The group's pace of play

    • The group's duration of play already

    • Player/Member/Guest names (if the tag is or tags are appropriately assigned within the tee sheet)

    • Actual Starting Time

    • Starting Hole

    • Current Hole Group Is On

    • Interval/Gap between them and the group ahead of them

4. Managing Pace of Play

  • Use the information from the Gap Time Monitor in conjunction with your map widgets to manage your flow and pace of play effectively.
