Confirm the Tag was fully charged overnight:
Place & connect each mobile device within your charging station.
The Power LED should indicate whether the device is charging or not. Look for a red blinking light to ensure the device is charging properly. If the device does not blink a red light, please try another USB cable as usually a 1 to 1 connection works.
After roughly 6–8 hours of charge, the Power light should turn solid red. Once you see this on the individual device itself, this ensures the device is fully charged and ready for play. Each device is capable of tracking for 2 rounds, when fully charged.
Check the physical condition of the Tag:
Check for no visible cracks, scratches, or damage. We highly recommend utilizing the cases we send with these devices to protect these devices from damage and the elements.
Confirm that the charging ports are clean and not damaged. Wipe with a dry cloth, if corroded.
Green Blinking → Tag is awake, charged, and cell service is broadcasting.
No Lights Blinking → The tag's battery may be dead → If so, please return this device to the charging station. Confirm the device is taking a charge with the previous steps.
No LED at all even after charging → Battery or board fault and a replacement will most likely be needed. Please contact your CSA with the Device & IMEI # (located on the white sticker on the device) as well as a video of the device not taking a charge to action a replacement.
Take the tag outside with a clear view of the sky. Usually the practice putting green will work with the tags spread out from one another.
Check the Dashboard → Devices → Last Fix column:
Your tags should update within a few minutes.
If the devices do not register a recent fix in your "Devices Page", please walk around with each individual tag for 2–3 minutes. Sometimes the tags require some movement to "wake up".
If multiple tags won’t charge, confirm your charging station is powered (check for a blue LED light on the dock base).
Swap the tag to another charging slot to rule out a faulty port.
Tag does not show any LED after overnight charge.
Tag shows LED activity, but never updates Last Fix after outdoor test.
Multiple tags from the same charger show issues (may be a charger power fault).
