Troubleshooting Your Charging Bay - Tags Not Charging
If your Tags are not charging properly, it’s important to identify whether the issue lies with the Tag, the charging cable, or the charging bay. This guide walks you through step-by-step troubleshooting to determine the cause and take the appropriate action.
Step-by-Step Troubleshooting:
Check the charging bay:
Test the Tag on a different cable:
-
If a Tag is not charging, plug it into another cable on the same charging bay.
-
If it charges, the original cable may be faulty.
Test the port:
-
Use a different cable in the port where the Tag was not charging.
-
If the Tag charges, the previous cable is at fault, and replacement cables will be needed.
Replace the charging bay if needed:
- Please note the older Mobile tags can be charged with a regular USB cable (if a cable replacement is needed) and the newer Tags can be charged using a USC cable.
